Chargali: by Leila Kavtarashvili

Vazha-Pshavela_exhibition_coverAgain and again, wonderful excursions. Yesterday we had one more trip to Chargali. We went there early in the morning and came back in the evening. The way was long, but exciting. We were twenty students in a bus. It was difficult, but we enjoyed it. The nature seen from our bus windows was wonderful.

We passed the Zhinvali Reservoir.  It was enormous. To reach the Chargali we passed through some villages.

The museum of Georgian writer Vazha-Pshavela was interesting. We saw how poor he lived, but this poverty didn’t make any influence on his writings. His intelligence and richness in soul is shown in his writings. Of course he lived very poor, but has left a great wealth and treasure, his works, to Georgian people. He is the writer of every century and every age.

We came back with a lot of impressions.
