I agree with this opinion that good points encourage students to study better because when some students get bad points they lose their motivation.
For example, I was learning one subject well but after a term my teacher wrote me low points and after that I hated the subject and I did not work as hard as it needed.
In my class I know some my friends who are doing their best but teachers do not estimate them well. So, they lose the stimulus for learning.
When you have good points you want to do more and more. So I think that good points for students are very important to learn well. When I have good points I am very happy. I want to fly high and to make everyone happy.
