An Excursion to Imedi TV: by Markha Margoshvili

This week students of RSF had an excursion in Tbilisi. We went to Imedi TV.

For me it was very interesting because I saw and learned a lot about how TV programs are made and broadcast and how it’s in reality. I want to say that it’s a big difference between making and broadcasting. Some of the studios were just decorations except the sofas and chairs where they are sitting. On TV, all of them seem real but it’s only decoration except for some details.

Unfortunately, when we went in, it was too late and we didn’t see a very popular showman Duta Sxirtladze. but we met with popular journalist Giorgi Kverenchkhiladze. He was a very nice person and we took lots of photos with him.

As we are a journalistic class, this excursion was very interesting and productive for us.
