Living without TV: by Makka Gaurgashvili

Almost every family today has a TV. In fact, majority of people everywhere spend hours watching soap operas on it. But a few families live without TV because they think there is nothing to watch. They think it’s a waste of time.

The first advantage of not watching TV is that families spend more time together. Secondly, they spend more time doing more creative things like reading or painting. They spend more time outdoors and are usually more fit.

On the other hand, there are also disadvantages. For example, children who don’t have TV, may feel differently from their school friends and often don’t know what their friends are talking about. Also, it isn’t true that all TV programs are bad.

There are also good ones, like documentaries and people who live without a TV may know less about what’s happening in the world.

So, TV is one of the ways getting more information about today’s world. It is important.
