Difficulties and new abilities in Europe: by Laina Pareulidze

After having 3 months pause from everything I decided to share with all RSF students my first impressions of Germany.

The first period in Germany hasn’t been easy. Foreign places, foreign people and language was confusing me more and more. The only communication with people was in English. Every day I learn something new, something useful for me, and the learning process is in English. That six years of English language helped me the most. Knowing English has got me some more privileges than other asylum seekers, so I learned German quicker. Of course I miss home and my friends, but I have realized that Germany is a very developed place with very big potential for RSF students.

So I wish Georgia to be like this, with new inspiration from Germany.
